Unearthed Archaeology & Heritage are highly experienced in the provision of historical (non-Aboriginal) archaeological assessments throughout Sydney and New South Wales to meet the requirements of both Council and the NSW Heritage Division.

Historical archaeological assessments are undertaken to ensure that proposed development will not impact upon any archaeological deposits or potential archaeological deposits. A historical archaeological assessment will include a detailed history of the site, the importance or significance of any potential or existing archaeological deposits and provide clear, concise management recommendations for proponents and developers to ensure that the archaeological deposit is appropriately managed. All historical archaeological assessments are undertaken in accordance with the NSW Heritage Manual and the Historical Archaeology Code of Practice.
